Gary Keller says that if he could go back in time and give advice, he’d have some wisdom for his younger self. In this episode I talk about those things, and the questions you need to be asking yourself today, to find out if you’re going to be happy with what you’ve done, tomorrow.

FJP129: I Dare You To Fail For One Year

Eric Thomas is a phenomenal motivational speaker. In this episode I talk about part of a speech he gave in which he references people’s habit of thinking they aren’t good at something, despite not ever having put in the effort to become good. In the speech he challenges people to fail for a whole year, because the byproduct of doing so would be success at what they initially assumed they weren’t any good at. I also give specific examples from my own life where I’ve challenged myself to do things I “wasn’t good at”, only to realize after putting in hard work, that I had gained abilities I had initially dismissed in myself.

FJP124: How Bodybuilder Kai Greene Achieves Guaranteed Success, By Mental Conditioning and Goal Setting

Kai Greene is one of the greatest bodybuilders in the world. How does he do it? If you’re like most people, you’ll give credit to genetics before researching what it takes to get to where he is. After watching multiple documentaries on Kai and dozens of other videos, turns out, Kai’s work ethic is matched by almost no one I’ve seen. More importantly, it’s focused work ethic, put behind a specific goal, as well as mental conditioning Kai’s worked extremely hard to achieve. He sets the goal that he wants, decides what actions it will take to reach that goal, envisions achieving that goal, and then trains for the goal, knowing what the end result will be before he gets there, because he’s not only training his body for the goal, but his mind. In this episode, learn what Kai and his trainer were saying before one of his shows. The answers are amazing, and yet not surprising if you understand what’s behind them.

FJP123: Plant Your Seed, Then Make Sure You’re Not Wasting Water On Any Other Seeds

Tyler Perry has had enormous success in the entertainment business. He credits a lot of his success to focusing on one thing, and then the many other successes he’s had coming because of that success. The success wouldn’t have come if he had tried to do everything at the same time though. I found a clip he titled “How To Become Successful”, where he talks about why he’s enjoyed the success he has. I share part of it with you in this episode, and how I’ve noticed a pattern of other successful people sharing the same secrets to their success. Success can be replicated, you just have to do it.
