If you haven’t read one of my monthly reports before, I include things such as traffic stats, subscriber growth, updates with projects I’m involved in, and sometimes even personal updates as well.
I haven’t posted a monthly report since March 28th. I was head down into preparing for and then launching the ForeverJobless podcast, so decided to hold off on reports until I got the podcast rolling.
I actually ran a contest to promote the podcast launch. I’ll announce the winners in this post.
In March I spoke on a panel at SXSW with Naruby Shlenker, Andrew Youderian, and Sean Work. I’ve spoken at small meetup events before but this was the first large conference I’ve been a speaker for. It was fun and I was surprisingly not that nervous for being in front of a packed room like I thought I might be. I’ve considered doing a little speaking in the future, so this was great practice.
In April I launched the ForeverJobless podcast. I basically created the type of podcast that I wanted to listen to, since it didn’t exist.
Within 24 hours, it was the #1 ranked entrepreneur podcast in iTunes,
and #2 overall behind Dave Ramsey in business.
These rankings have bounced around a bit and I don’t have the audience size yet to maintain the spots, but it was good to see that the marketing plan I had been working on, worked.
I passed 100,000 downloads 7 weeks after launching.
What are the episodes about?
I talk about a lot of different concepts I think are important for entrepreneurs, such as– FJP041: Is Work Delaying Your Own Happiness?.
I give you access to private conversations with successful entrepreneur friends of mine, as if there was no mic in the room– FJP002: Comfortable Success, Going All-In, and More.
Most entrepreneurs want to pretend they don’t fail. That’s stupid. Failing is a great way to learn. I openly share failures such as this one– FJP027: Hustling, Failing, and Learning as a 20 Year Old.
I’ve even given on the spot business and marketing advice for entrepreneur friends of mine– FJP006: Viral Marketing and More After Shark Tank.
And I’ve brought on people who can help teach things that have made them successful– FJP052: 4am Wakeups and How They Led To Incredible Productivity and Increased Happiness.
There’s much, much more. If you haven’t checked it out yet, go listen to some of the episodes and I think you’ll be hooked.

Design Company I Invested In:
I talked about a lot of the problems they were having in this post.
I gave an update in this post, basically explaining that there was still not much work getting done.
It’s been a while since updating, and I guess the short version update is, it was mutually agreed on that one of the guys would leave. He wanted to do other things with his time, so it was better for the business and for him since the business couldn’t keep going at that pace and make sense to continue.
I’ve agreed to do a trial with the other partner to see if the pace could be picked up to where it should be, and I’ll find out the specific results in a meeting we have scheduled this week.
Fitness:
My fitness goals are on track. I’m about 6 weeks away from the end of this training program. I’m just over 6% body fat right now, and have been very strict with diet and exercise. I’m having my meals delivered to me and I’m currently lifting weights 4 days/week, and doing cardio the other 3 days/week. I’m happy with how it’s going, but excited to binge on some pizza and desserts as soon as I hit my goal.
Podcast Contest Winners:
Three people won consultations with me, that we may even feature on ForeverJobless podcast episodes.
The winners are:
• altazor51
• KarlSteinmeyer
• Octavius M
The grand prize winner receives entry into a private conference/mastermind I’m running late this year/early next year.
The Grand Prize Winner is:
• CharlieDewitte
Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to everyone who helped during the launch, and to everyone who continues to support the show. Each message and each review I get saying that the show is providing value to you means a lot to me.
A handful of people have been emailing me asking if I’m available to hire for consulting. I may do this with a few people now that I have the podcast off the ground. If that’s something you’re interested in fill out this application and if you qualify we’ll set up a call to see if it’s a fit.
I also wanted to announce that I’m going to be doing a live webinar on June 12th.
The subject: Millionaire’s Math. I get asked all the time to put out more content on this subject, so if you’re interested in learning more, don’t miss it. Look forward to seeing you there:
