Like Michelangelo says, “If people knew how hard he had to work to gain his mastery, it would not seem so wonderful at all.” People need to be honest with themselves about what they’re willing to give up to achieve what they want. It’s not always glamorous, and it’s often very hard, and sacrifices many others wouldn’t be willing to make. If you are willing to make sacrifices others aren’t willing to, you’ll reap rewards at a level they won’t be able to.

They make their lives harder on themselves since there are no compounding results from any of their work. Four hour workweeks don’t produce four hour workweeks. FJP112: Constantly Changing Your Plan For the Better, Gives You Worse Results


Jumping from new plan to new plan, doesn’t help you achieve results even if the plans you’re jumping to are better than the last one you had. Each new strategy becomes a distraction, and time that could have been productive is spent questioning your direction, and wasting time wondering if there’s a better way to get where you’re going. If you just stuck with your initial plan, chances are you’d make it much further than trying to find the perfect plan.
